Butch Fleischer has created a 3D printed KK banner:

He has made the 3D STL files available as a zip file with two STL files to print the KK Banner, one for the red filament and one for the black filament. Whoever uses it will need at least a 2-color 3D printer and know how to use a slicer application. If alumni don't have a 3D printer and want a banner, contact Butch at bfleischer.hd@gmail.com.

Me and some friends were up at a lake house on lake Manataka and came across your kamp. We were wondering why the kamp stopped back in 1975? We are so eager to learn more about the stories and memories created there!!

Very sad news. Just received a call. George Koval passed away on Saturday. Was working out in a gym and died suddenly. We will all remember him as a modest, wonderful friend Very smart and a gifted athlete and captain of football at Penn. I have memories of his being able to throw a football the length of our KK football field. Sadly missed. Dave Rutstein

I just saw this obituary in the Philadelphia Inquirer for William (Bill) Goff. I have to assume this is the same kamper from 1958 and 1959 since it mentions that he grew up in ELkins Park and the Kamp Directory also says Elkins Park.It's amazing that I can remember Kewanee names from 65 years ago, but can't remember the name of a person I met 10 minutes ago! Happy New Year!

Many thanks to WFIL and his committee for a great reunion at the Joseph Ambler Inn. The accommodations, food, drinks and WFIL's memorabilia were outstanding. The best part, the absolute best part, was sharing memories with others who have been a part of KK history. We hope you all arrived home safely and enjoy the rest of summer.

I want to add that Alan loved his. years at KK 1965-70 I believe. He kept in touch with so many of us from those years. He will be missed.

I am very sad and devastated to report that my dearest old KK friend, Alan Kaufmann, was murdered by his stepson in his McClean home on Tuesday. I had talked to Alan earlier that day. He had retired from the government on Dec. 23 and was looking forward to continuing his education, writing sports stories, exercising and living the retired life. I last saw him when I came to Chevy Chase for my HS reunion. We had a fun lunch in Bethesda.
I learned about this terrible news from a school friend of mine who became friends with Alan at Harvard. You can google Alan Kaufmann if you want more information. This is just so so sad.

My father Dr. Richard D. Bush purchased the Kamp in the 1970's with a group of other investors. My father has since passed. I have a collection of vinyl albums from 1952-1957 approximately.
